The Leicester Haymarket Theatre pays host to the exhibition from
Tuesday 9th July.
There are six themes for the schools project, which are closely
linked to the National Curriculum work ongoing in classrooms at
the moment.
The six themes are:

- What
makes our locality unique?
- A
place for poetry
- Local
legend
The
BBC ‘A Sense of Place’ team is also encouraging schools to look
to their wider community for support in this project. The year 5
children have been invited to enter a competition and submit both
some of their written work and some art to BBC Radio Leicester.
The schools taking part are:

John the Baptist, C of E Primary School, Whitwick
