Chris Conway releases a new age CD Ayurveda on the New World Music label this month. It’ll be his 10th CD under his own name – 14th if you include albums of bands in which he is an equal member.

Chris Conway
This is Chris's 10th solo album

He plays over 10 instruments on the album - keyboards, tin and low D whistles, acoustic & electric nine-string guitars, tanpura, swarmandal, zither, theremin, vocals, effects, kalimba, bells, bamboo chimes, bodhran - and wrote all the music.

A hyper-active musician Christo as he is known, is active in the folk, jazz and world music genres.

Ayurveda is his first new age/relaxation music venture. It is in the mind body and soul series and he hopes it will sell as well as others in the series which sell around 10,000 copies worldwide. This would make it his biggest selling album.

Ayurveda comes hot on the heels of two song releases at the end of 2002 – My Mind’s Island and a collection of science fiction folk songs Alien Salad Abduction, both on A New Day Records.
