Ten years on
from the International Environment Conference in Rio de Janeiro,
Leicester, Britain’s first Environment City and second Fairtrade
City, will be making global links and highlighting Leicester on
the world map
What
has Globeshare and the World Summit got to do with me?
There are many
opportunities to get involved in Globeshare: come to events, sign
action cards, volunteer, make your shopping count, save money through
making your house energy efficient. By doing these, you will be
a part of Globeshare.
Globeshare wants
to involve Leicester people in local and global issues and with
communities around the world. Leicester has a lot to learn and a
lot to share. Globeshare aims to put this in motion and get people
talking and taking action across continents.
Globeshare
will focus on three issues:
