from the ashes of Leicester scene regulars Spuff come Beg
to Differ. Recruiting Spuff's drummer JP and Jim on bass/backing
vocals and newcomer Cdub on guitar, frontman Pete put together
his dream band.
gigs have garnered a loyal following for this quirky mix of
original happy-go-lucky hard-core rock and roll. They pride
themselves on a manic, entertaining, energetic live set.
recently played in London where they claim to have "kicked
some Cockney ass", and they joined the line-up for the
Abbey Park Festival in August.

off competition from 15 other Leicester bands.

very amusing) with heavy riffs, powerful (and surprisingly
clear) vocals and a supremely tight rhythm section."
five days in a recording studio resulted in the band's new
four-track CD - The Inflammation Superhighway. BTD
also beat five other bands to win the Sound Room Battle of
the Bands by gaining 36% of the votes.

of the four band members. A band spokesman said: "We
have the energy and the pig-headed self-belief of 20 bands."
