New Addiction are a band from Leicestershire with a sound taking influences from the Stereophonics, Oasis and The Who.

They came onto the local music scene in their current form around summer 1998.

A sound that could be described as Indie Spunk Rock which is described by the band as "the bellowing voice of tear and a raising passion to sing songs like suicide notes, but written by the killer."
