Jodi No.1
Directed by David Dhavan - Starring Govinda and Sanjay Dutt. This is a comedy film where both Govinda and Sanjay are best of friends, but are also con artists posing one day as policemen, taxi drivers and coolies (porters) at a Mumbai train station. Running away from the police after an accidental death the two end up in Goa with a wealthy family posing as long lost family friends. Eventually the two realise the error of their ways and help the wealthy family from financial ruin. There are a few good comic scenes and a few good dance numbers. Overall this is not a usual David Dhavan film.

The Dish
July 20th 1969. Neil Armstrong is about to set foot on the moon. The world holds it's collective breath as people crowd round television screens to see this historic moment. In an Australian outback town a receiving dish, set in the middle of a sheep paddock, is about to become the only link through which the television pictures can get back to NASA. Then a cyclone blows up. If this weren't a true story you couldn't make it up. It's a very funny film, with its own touching moments. This is how history should made into movies ... meanwhile in Pearl Harbour!!!

The Mummy Returns
The 'Mummy Returns' lasts 2 hours but goes by quicker than that. It's entertaining escapism and viewed as such, is worth watching. The bus chase sequence is one of the many highlights.

Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya
Pyar Tune Kya Kiya Review ... Did the author see the same film as I did? The facts about the film are totally inaccurate! Jai (Idiot that he is in the film) never actually cheats on his wife, his just a flirt that doesn't see the effect he has on 'mildy psychotic Ria'.
