The life of a woman
Discover yourself and there's a little Bridget Jones in all of us

Bridget Jones' Diary, Golden Globe winner Renee Zellweger (Nurse Betty, Jerry Maguire) stars in the title role as the dynamic, irrepressible and outrageously original Bridget Jones.

Comfort in the arms of a man

This is the story of 365 days in the life of one single British woman in her 30's who works in the publishing industry. She gains 74 pounds (and loses 72), smokes over 5,000 cigarettes, has an affair she might regret, and does other things people do, including going to parties where married friends by the busload worry about her state of "Singleton".

The 32-year-old Bridget decides it's time to take control of her life, and start keeping a diary. Now, the most provocative, erotic and hysterical book on her bedside table is the one she's writing.

Bridget Jones

She's turning her life around
With a taste for adventure, and an opinion on every subject, from exercise to men to food to sex and everything in between, she's turning the page on a whole new life.

The film is from the makers of Four Weddings and a Funeral and Notting Hill, and is directed by Sharon Maguire.
