New Weekly Schedule

The Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Safety Camera Scheme is now issuing the mobile camera site enforcement schedule in a new format.

Previously, the schedule listed sites to be visited on specific days; the new format will list sites for the week.

This change has come about to give greater flexibility to the enforcement team so that if there is a need on any given day to alter enforcement strategy, then they can so without confusing members of the public.

Community Concern Sites:

Anstey Lane, Le

Core sites are sites that have been pre-approved by the authorities for regular speed or traffic signal enforcement enforcement.

Community concern sites are locations that have been highlighted to us by the public because of concerns about excessive speed of traffic. Where we find evidence of a significant and persistent speeding problem, we will deploy our mobile camera van.

We also check the collision history of each site we investigate for speeds and most of the community concern sites have had at least one injury collision in the last three years.
