Kate Nash is performing after them, and they're pleased that their set is only 10 minutes shorter than hers! They've been looking forward to Summer Sundae for weeks now, but what will they do when it's all over? "I just really hope we'll be able to get some really big gigs out of it and get some recognition. "Hopefully there's someone there at Summer Sundae, someone from the industry, who'll be able to pick us up, who we'll be able to do stuff with. "Obviously ideally it would be excellent if we could get a record deal out of it." It's been a few weeks since the big announcement was made, but the band are still reeling from the outcome: "It was absolutely fantastic to find out that all those people voted for us to be able to play on the same stage as all those big bands. "It's like a dream come true, coming to play a big festival on our home turf." Fazed see this opportunity as a launch pad to their musical careers, hoping that the festival crowd will not only consist of new-fans in waiting, but perhaps a few music industry types. Famous FacesThere's one person in particular they'd like to bump into after their set. BBC6 Music's Steve Lamaq is a bit of a band hero, and responsible for getting them interested in many of the artists who have inspired them. ![]() Music Hero: Steve Lamacq Since winning the competition the band have been rehearsing as much as they possibly can between their full-time jobs - oh, and of course all those radio and magazine interviews! Despite all eyes on them, the band don't seem too fazed by the week ahead (the pun had to be done!): "There's a lot of pressure on the band as it is with all the media spotlight but I'm quietly confident that we'll pull it off. "It should be good, we're really looking forward to it.
