A new Brazilian Soccer School has opened in the city bringing the skills of Brazil to football mad Leicestershire youngsters. The scheme could create generations of our very Ronaldos and Ronaldinhos.

John Farnworth, world freestyle skills champion officially opened the Brazilian Soccer School at the Judgemeadow Football Development Centre.

The soccer school aims to equip local five to 16 year olds with the tactical awareness and skills that have won Brazil the World Cup on five occasions. Techniques will include those endorsed by the legendary Pelé.

Other coaching techniques used at the school include the Brazilian game of 'futebol de salão'- a game Pelé, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho played as young boys.
