I had the greatest of honours when I met Sarah in April in Amsterdam...I am so glad that I did, She was an amazing woman and will be sadly missed by many many people. Now Sarah can party and have fun without the pain... I hope that heaven is ready for Her!.

Sarah was a very inspirational woman. She never had a bad word to say about anyone.

The picture you have on the site is of Sarah on my bike. This was the weekend I met Sarah at a friend's party and we got together. I was with Sarah when she found out that she had MND. I am absolutely devastated that she has passed away, but I take comfort in the fact that the lively, lovely gorgeous woman I knew will not be suffering anymore. Sleep tight "gorgeous" (That was what I called her). I'll never forget you.

I have chatted with Sarah many times on the internet. She fought a strong fight. I will pray for her.

Sarah, or rather 'Duckie' was a much loved witty, courageous woman and regular contributor on the Build forum website (run for and by those affected by Motor Neurone Disease). Her passing has shocked and upset many of us on there - she really was a wonderful, funny lady who I for one will miss greatly. God bless you Sarah.

Sarah was a fantastic lively, happy go lucky and a loving and caring person. She lit up a room when she walked in. Such an amazing courageous woman and I'm so glad I had the honour of meeting her. May you sleep peacefully and pain free Sarah. Always remembered. xxxxxx

I knew Sarah from the net and was there the day that picture was taken. I for one will miss her and so will my children. She never let her illness beat her and stuck two fingers up to MND. Good on you ducks. Sleep well and party on for all of us.

I have just read Sarah's diary. She was a brave and inspirational lady. It has made me realise how lucky I am that I have my health. I met Sarah a few years ago at a party she gave - she was the life and soul of it. It would be wonderful to be able to read Sarah's Diary again in printed form as a book. I would be one of the first to buy it. My regards and condolences to Sarah's family and friends.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for highlighting Sarah and the horrendous situations she was faced with during her period of illness.
I am privileged to be one of her closest friends. I say "am" because friendship is forever and not just for life.
