Stoke Golding Swords 7-1 Loughboro' FC Youth

U10's Division 5, 27/11/2005: Swords made it six wins out of six with a convincing 7-1 win over visitors Loughborough at the rec.


Nathan Astle opened the scoring with two fine individual goals in the first ten minutes which were soon followed by two long range efforts form Chris Ryder to make it 4-0 at the break.

Stoke pressed again in the second half and although Loughborough improved on their first half performance more goals followed from James Steed and the hard working Shaun Duncan.

Nathan Astle grabbed a well deserved hat trick towards the end to round off a good team performance and maintained their position at the top of the league.

The visitors snatched a consolation on the final whistle but the match finished Stoke 7 Loughborough 1.

Man of the Match was Chris Ryder.
