The seven-piece band who will be treating us to latino live includes a line-up of the UK’s foremost Cuban and Latin musicians.

They will be led by the charismatic vocalist and songwriter, Osvaldo Chacón.

As one of the finest forces promoting the contemporary sound of Cuban timba in the UK, they produce a rich and vibrant sound that compels on the dance floor.

Timba takes elements of the traditional Cuban son and salsa, and Chacón’s music also blends elements of jazz, funk, rap, reggae and soca.

"Osvaldo… ascends the summit of dance energy"
Rhythm Magazine, USA

Chacón returned to Havana in 2001 to record his first solo CD Salsa Afro Cubana.

Since then he's recorded with with top-ranking Cuban artists and has now released his second album Voy a Entrar.

The band has impressed audiences at a variety of leading Festivals and venues around the country and will perform at the Royal Festival Hall this June.

They have received acclaim aplenty for their unique live performances, so don't miss out!
