Normanton Church
Normanton Church is full of history and is a fascinating visit - if it's too far away, take a look here.
Normanton Church in Rutland was designed by Thomas Cundy and built in the 1820's. Take a look around this beautiful building and one of the county's gems.

FACTS

The church, with semicircular portico and tower, was built in 1826-29 and was designed by Thomas Cundy, then architect to the Grosvenor estate in Westminster

The original site of Normanton Church (St Matthew's Church as it was once known) would have placed it below the proposed water line of Rutland Water
