On my 21st party in the Church Hall we had a dance and a meal. I had a job at a firm called Vickers Arm-Strong Newcastle.

I worked there for for eight hours a day. It took 30 minutes on my bike to get there from Gatesend, also I wore a boiler suit. I made nuts and bolts and washers. More...
