Secrets of Lough Kernan

A quiet and serene lough holds a dark secret, which helped fuel the English Civil War, and also came back to play its part in the downfall of schoolteacher more than 250 years later.

Lough Kernan, which lies in the parish of Tullylish near the town of Gilford, County Down, can lay claim to decent fly-fishing and beautiful sunsets.
