When
complete, Leeds Supertram will be a 28km light rail network providing
state-of-the-art public transport services that will run at frequent
intervals along three major routes (to north, south and east Leeds)
and into and around Leeds City Centre.
Construction
of the tram system should start in 2004 with the first trams running
by late 2007.
Supertram
won't be on the streets for some years.
But
you can take a virtual
ride now through the city centre.
You
need to have the Real One player installed on your computer to take
the virtual tram journey.
