"I went along to The Unit in Yeadon on the 28th December 2004 to see The Lost 45s UK and Coburn do their thing. I wasn't expecting anybody else to be there so soon after christmas, but was amazed to find at least 100 other souls packed in almost to the door. The 45s came on first to a ripple of applause, they did a set of about 8/9 songs all very different, due to having three different vocalists, but with a strong Modern Garage/Beat to the fore. They are definitely a band to watch out for and offer a top night out. The p.a was not upto the job, but with the last few chords of Ivy still crying out, the audiance were shouting for more.
Coburn hit the stage shortly afterwards delivering a brilliant set of original power pop
belters. This band really do look the business, and blew the crowd away and made them forget how cold it was outside - they get better everytime that I see them. All too soon it was time to brave the wind and rain, but I went home with a warm glow inside."
