From
a man who gave up drugs, pimping and gang warfare on the streets
of LA some 20 years ago to tell life like it is through rap, Ice
T still has a huge respect with a generation who wern't even born
when he was at the height of his notoriety.
He
has become an icon of rap and a champion of the anti drugs and anti
gangs campaign. Through his music, his book (The Ice Opinion), and
his lecture tours of America's prisons, high schools and colleges
(including Harvard and Stanford). Ice T has become an influential
spokesman for America's youth, regardless of colour.
Here
he gives us a little insight into the why he gave up his old life
to settle down, bring up his kids, speak out against drugs and crime
and enjoy his time watching cable TV and playing on the internet.
