What your money can buy |
| Can
you spare at least a pound for a pup? |
The
BBC Radio Leeds Pound for a Pup appeal aims to raise £150,000
over the year.
This money will allow the station, its listeners and web users to
buy five guide dogs and cover all the training and living costs. |
There
are 200,000 visually impaired people in the UK who could be more independent.
The association wants a world in which all people who are blind or
partially sighted enjoy the same rights, opportunities and responsibilities
as everyone else.
It provides guide dogs, mobility and rehabilitation services to blind
and partially sighted people.
