Day 29 Calais to Folkestone

Jane is still suffering from the back pain that's affected her over the last few days.

Today was very straight forward with a cycle from Calais to the Eurotunnel entrance. The most astounding thing was that there were so few customers. We were one of only eight cars waiting to board.

It was only 45 minutes from boarding the train until we were in Folkestone. Jane was met by some of the media.

Luke took some time to get used to cycling on the left hand side of the road again.

Because we were unable to cycle the Tunnel we decided that having left Calais seafront it seemed appropriate to cycle from the front at Dover.

The short cycle from Dover to Folkestone was in its own way very scary with the A20 proving hair raising.

An early finish was a relief after the trials of the last few days.
