Amy Peppercorn is 16 years old with a great (screaming!) voice. But Amy has lots of reasons to scream about:
1) School is boring!
2) Her best mate Beccs is going off with her long legged, long haired, boy magnet cousin - like ALL the time!
3) Her family are ALWAYS arguing and she is in the middle!

Amy Peppercorn: Starry-eyed and Screaming

Amy Peppercorn book cover

As if Amy hasn't got enough to worry about, the gorgeous looking Ben starts at her school, and what does she do?

She falls under his spell. With his intriguing eyes and mysterious personality Amy wants to find out more so she decides to join his band.

Suddenly everything changes and Amy's scream is her key to success. She's going to be the newest star on the block- she's on her way to becoming a household name!

But in this incredible story of a young girl, on her way into the music industry, it has an unexpected twist. You will have to read it to find out!

Ben also has some explaining to do when Amy finds out why he called their group Car Crime and I can tell you now that it wasn't because he liked the name! When one of Ben's friends is in hospital because of a car crash he is held responsible and Amy knows why!

Will Amy make it to the top? And more importantly, will her friends help her get there?

I thought this book was really exciting and I couldn't put it down! I hadn't heard of this author before but after reading this book I want to read a lot more of his books!
