Pictures at the shuttle bus The BBC is not responsible for the content of external websites Coach TravelNational Express will be running services to Leeds Festival, going out on Thursday 21st August and coming back on Monday 25th August. They’ll take you right in through the festival gates. For travel bookings and more information, www.nationalexpress.com/leedsfestival. They have a journey planner on the website, to arrange your transport from almost 50 locations across the country. Train TravelGreat North Eastern Railway, Virgin Trains and First Transpennine Express run trains to Leeds City Station. There are no special services but the local networks are aware of the festival. ![]() Leeds Festival shuttle buses Shuttle BusThere will be frequent shuttle buses running from Leeds City Railway Station and Leeds Coach Station to Bramham Park from Wednesday 20th August to Monday 25th August. There is also a service from York Station on Thursday and back to York Station on Monday. The shuttle bus stops will be signposted from the Railway Stations and Coach Station. Full shuttle bus timetables are available on the website, www.leedsfestival.com. The fares for this year's shuttle bus service are being held at the same price as last year to encourage you to use it. The journey time from Leeds Railway Station to Bramham Park is around 45 minutes. Pictures at the shuttle busYou can buy tickets on the bus or at the onsite bus station at Yellow Gate. The shuttle buses get you nearer to a festival entrance than any other means of arriving onsite, they run regularly, the operation should be smooth and hassle free and there will be enough shuttle buses to meet the demand. The shuttle buses will drop you off very close to the railway station or bus station and you will not have to queue as long to get on a shuttle bus as you would when arriving at and leaving the car parks. Lift ShareIf you need a lift to the festival or have a spare seat in your car and want to offer a lift, log onto Liftshare to hook up with others. Liftshare makes travelling to the festival cheaper, reduces the amount of congestion on the roads helping everyone arriving quickly, and of course you’re being kind to our environment by reducing green house gas emissions and your carbon footprint. If you are travelling by car and have a spare seat, please visit the Leeds 2008 Car Share Scheme www.liftshare.org ![]() Ready for anything By FootThere is no pedestrian access to the festival but if you choose to walk onto or off site at night then please wear reflective clothing as the roads are not lit. Free reflective stickers are available. Please take great care.
