Leeds United Unplugged is the title of a great new show dedicated to all things Leeds United. However this is no mere fans phone-in - rather than the traditional "praise or grumble" concept of most fans football shows, the new show will be much more interactive and won't just be about the players and the club. BBC Radio Leeds want local bands and musical artists who have a fondness for the Super Whites to get in touch so that they can let the people hear their music but also their passion for their football team. The programme's producers want any prospective musical guests to play a track live in the studio as well as an intro that demonstrates their loyalty to Gary McAllister and the boys. ![]() Andy Ritchie in the Unplugged studio Presenter Adam Pope will be joined regularly in the studio by former United striker Andy Ritchie, as well as other former players and fans who have a tale to tell about the ups and downs of being a Leeds United supporter. The show will be completely interactive with callers, emails, texts and a Facebook page. Leeds United Unplugged is hoping to broadcast live from supporters clubs all over the region....and maybe even the world! Leeds United Unplugged will be broadcast between 7pm and 9pm on Thursdays on BBC Radio Leeds - 92.4FM, 774AM, Digital DAB and streamed live at www.bbc.co.uk/radioleeds.
