Pudsey Juniors u13s unbeaten

A strong defence enables Pudsey Juniors to keep a clean sheet.

Garforth under 13s, Sunday 11 November 2007

South Leeds Saints 0 Pudsey Juniors 6

Following a minute's slience for remembrance Sunday the game Kicked off with both teams battling hard in the early stages. The Juniors took the lead after 15 minutes, against the run of play when a clever ball by Beckett released Whitaker to slot home past the keeper.Saints then had the better of the first half and only three good saves by the junior keeper B Hart and a well marshalled Junior defence kept them out.The second half started in the same vain but slowly the Juniors took contol and 10 minutes into the second half doubled their lead when T. Hart broke the off side trap to score from an acute angle. The Juniors then took control with some excellent passing and added a third when Lester fired home from the edge of the box. T. Hart then added four and five to complete his hat trick before Whitaker finished off with his second of the day and the Juniors sixth. Man of the match was centre half Tams for an excellent defensive show, with credit going to all of the defence and the keeper for an impressive clean sheet.
