About MeStarsign: Aquarius Grew up in: Weston-Super-Mare - (it’s the Monte-Carlo of the South West) First job: Worked as a caretakers assistant at Weston College (arranged chairs and picked gum off of the bottom of tables…vital to all educational institutions) First car: Rover Metro…four gears, crimson red, dashboard shook when you went above 70 mph (required a hill to do so). Replaced by another Rover Metro which had the steering wheel stolen…resulting in it being written off. First record bought: Shaggy - "Oh Carolina" First kiss: Rachael Woodhead, Priory school disco, soundtrack provided by Portishead. (don’t tell her though, I said I was well experienced) My Favourite ThingsFood: Mango and Sushi (not together) Drink: Any Funny named continental wheat beer…and Banrock Station Reserve, Verdelho reserve (I don’t know what any of that means but it taste nice). Place in the world: Sydney, Australia or the Beach Lawns at Weston-Super-Mare…either will do. Place in West Yorkshire: The Adelphi, Leeds. TV show: 8 out of 10 cats, 15 Storeys High...am I the only person in the world to have seen that series? Movie: Withnail and I Music Act: Jack Johnson, Damien Rice, John Martyn, Modest Mouse…changes all the time Thing in your wardrobe: A fuchsia v-neck woolly jumper….its a winner (Ronnie Corbett loves 'em) Possession: Nothing…I lose EVERYTHING. Heroes (fave people): Broadcasting – Chris evans (even with those specs and that hair). Non broadcasting – there was a man once who got his arm trapped in a rock whilst climbing and had to cut it off with a pen knife…what a guy. Zeroes (least fave people): Anyone who doesn't have a talent but still manages to court fame and fortune (only because I can't) Hobbies/Interests: Surfing…what else living in Leeds? Music…if only I cold actually play it instead of pushing start on a CD. Eating nice food and drinking nice wine. Best Radio Moment: Sitting next to the "Hoff" (David Hasselhoff) and acting out a Baywatch lifesaving scene with Karen from reception and some bloke called Graham. And Finally...What would you be if you weren't on the radio?: Teaching naughty kids how to play sport. last updated: 24/07/07 You are in: Leeds > BBC Radio Leeds > BBC Radio Leeds station info > Johnathan I'Anson
