All_2gether_NowYou are in: Leeds > BBC Radio Leeds > All_2gether_Now > Through my eyes ![]() Some of the contributors Through my eyesAn experimental project aimed to give members of the community in Leeds and Bradford a voice on BBC Leeds and on the World Service, was run between 2005 and 2007. ![]() Certain language services including the Arabic, BBC English, Chinese, French, Persian, Urdu and Vietnamese services, based in London, have included stories from appropriate language speakers living in Leeds and Bradford. Serious or funnyAbout 50 stories were recorded. Some of the stories are serious but others are funny, heartbreaking or quirky; they are about a range of subjects including hopes for the future, concerns about society, religious practices, reminiscences, romances, hobbies, and so on. Students, asylum seekers, refugees, teachers, entertainers, artists and musicians all told their fascinating stories. The only common thread these stories have is that they give people around the world a taste of different individual's life experiences in Leeds. There are links to the English versions of these stories on the right hand side of this page.
