Local singing sensation Corinne Bailey Rae is one of the nominees in this year's Brit Awards and BBC Look North is searching for a superfan to explain to their viewers just why she should win.

Now, many of you will be aware that it's the Brit Awards in a couple of weeks time and this year we thought we'd give YOU the chance to make a short report on Look North about Corinne Bailey Rae's music and why she should win a prestigious Brit Award.

Alongside other Yorkshire acts, Sheffield's finest - the Arctic Monkeys and Jarvis Cocker are both in the running for awards, Leeds-born singer Corrine Bailey Rae has been nominated in several categories.

After a phenomenally successful year, Corinne is hoping to add to that by winning Best Female Solo Artist, Best Single (for "Put Your Records On") and British Breakthrough Act.
