She beat off five other finalists to become BBC Radio Leeds' newest presenter. Nadine is a businesswoman from Wakefield. She describes herself as a 'yummy mummy' who juggles work, family and home life. She impressed the three judges - BBC Radio Leeds presenters Andrew Edwards, Julie Langford and Russell Walker - with her natural presentation style and exuberance. And listeners liked her too. When we put the final decision on who was to be our star to the public vote, Nadine won 37% of the votes to come first. The runner-up was Michael Bunting. Nadine will now record a two-hour show, which will be broadcast on BBC Radio Leeds on Monday 25 December 2006, 12-2pm. Listen on 92.4FM, Digital Radio or online via this website. |
