BEEN GOING SINCE: 2000

BIOGRAPHY: Formed in 2000, Air Raid Brigade (previously known as Self-Titled) have been through some line-up changes but stuck as three-piece from the 2003 onwards. Around Easter 2005, their self-recorded EP was released which had a number of sales at live shows as well as online through their old website and is now available to download in full from the music section. Air Raid Brigade also recorded a three track demo, entitled Test-Drive, at Prism Studios with producer Shaun Lowe. Through 2005 and early 2006 Air Raid Brigade have continued live shows managed around their University studies, as well as writing new material to be recorded in the near future.
STYLE OF MUSIC: Rock/Alternative/Progressive - "Think early Manics a la Generation Terrorists mixed with At The Drive-in circa Relationship of Command and you're somewhere within a couple miles of your destination."
INFLUENCES: Influences include: At The Drive In, No Use for a Name, Iron Maiden, The Mars Volta, Manic Street Preachers, Thrice, Biffy Clyro, The Living End, Mclusky, Rage Against The Machine, RX Bandits, Led Zeppelin, Bedouin Soundclash, Tauntra, The Jam, Noam Chomsky, George Orwell.
