The festival takes place over four stages and arenas in Granary Wharf, including an outdoor stage next to the Leeds-Liverpool canal.

Organised by the team behind Leeds venues The HiFi Club, Wire & The Faversham, Across The Tracks aims to be a relaxed and family-freindly event. The music will cover a range of genres, from indie and rock to dance, reggae, hip hop and folk. In addition to the music and dance stages there will be an international and fair trade food court, market stalls, art exhibitions and street art, a children's area, break-dancing competitions, and more... There will also be two hours of Fresh Jive breakdance battles, featuring MC 10 Tonn, and DJs T-Breaks, Ictus, Chinny, DMW and Breaking The Illusion, with breakdance crews including Leeds' Get Low Pirates, plus a body popping showcase.
