BEEN GOING SINCE: October 2004
BIOGRAPHY: Bare Essentials are a five-piece covers band. The current line up formed in October 2004 and recruited Jamie (vox) in August 2005.
STYLE OF MUSIC: We play a great mix of new and old, from Kinks,  Kaisers, Free, Franz Ferdinand, Killers, U2, Strokes, Ramones, Bowie, Supergrass, Oasis, Who, RHCP, beatles, Free... the list is growing.
INFLUENCES: Well, most of the above and lots more
FAVOURITE SONG: Unforgettable Fire by U2
BEST MOMENT SO FAR: Gigs at the Duck n Drake are always a scream, great crowd and plenty of proper beer.

I saw these guys at the Roscoe in January they were probably the most talented set of musicians I've seen for ages. Their covers are brilliant & what a sound !! Their on again this weekend. I'll be there..

Saw this band at the New Roscoe recently, best covers band I've seen for a long, long time, great set list, excellent choice of songs.
