Sunday @ Leeds Festival 2005

The end of the festival brought a chilled-out atmosphere for most of the day. Main stage headliners the Foo Fighters closed the festival in style with an amazing laser display.

Some Sunday highlights

  • New Minds Eye on the Unsigned stage - check out the drummer who also sings and plays harmonica and saxophone!
  • The wind plays havoc with your hair but makes the flags look great.
  • The Charlatans have the youngest ever backing dancers on stage. Two cute kids make the entire crowd go "aaah" then lead them in bizarre communal clapping.
  • Pete Doherty turns up (albeit late!) and gives a shambolic but brilliant performance on the Radio 1 Stage with his band Babyshambles.

Main Stage - Foo Fighters, Kings Of Leon, Razorlight, The Charlatans, Dinosaur Jr, Roots Manuva, Biffy Clyro, All American Rejects, From Autumn to Ashes

NME/Radio 1 Stage - The Tears, Babyshambles, The Arcade Fire, Hot Hot Heat, The Kills, The Others, Juliette & The Licks, Nine Black Alps, The Cribs, The Longcut, Editors

Radio 1 Lock-up Stage - (Transplants have cancelled) Bad Religion, Hatebreed, Anti Flag, Ris Against, Eighteen Visions, Dwarves, Capdown, Million Dead, Emanuel, The Explosion, Senses Fail, No Comply

Carling Stage - The Go! Team, The Raveonettes, Sleater Kinney, The Caesars, Be Your Own Pet, Yeti, Dogs, Arctic Monkeys, Mystery Jets, 747s, Clor, Youth Group, Puggy
