It's
impossible to pick just one, but if pushed we'll go with the Bowling
Green.
The
Bowling Green is on Bondgate, and forms part of our Chair's favourite
"Bondgate Run" (start in the Woolpack, then the Bowling
Green, the Rose and Crown, and finish in the Junction).
The decor cannot be described, but there are probably very few pubs
in Leeds whose decorations include artificial limbs and stuffedanimals.
The
beer is the ever reliable Black Sheep Bitter, and a range of guests,
usually from the local micro-breweries. This is all set off by one
of the finest juke boxes in the world.
Just
bubbling under in Otley are the Black Bull, Bay Horse, Junction,
Rose and Crown, Fleece ... Oh, really, there isn't a bad one there.
