James didn't know what to do when he was told he couldn't carry on at college.

But he ended up regretting the decision he made in haste.

My story is about how my life changed over a matter of just two years.

At the age of eighteen my life took a drastic change. I was told that I could no longer do my course at Leeds college of Building because the company that I worked for went in liquation.

So with not a clearer head I went and signed up and joined the army.

Luckily for me I picked up an injury and had plenty of time to think what I had done. After some serious thinking I put my papers in and left. I came home and got my self sorted, paid off all my debt and got myself off to college.

And here I am twenty years of age at Thomas Danby College doing a media course knowing that finally my life is on the right track.
