Rachel Newman is helping 'Touching the Road' explore their musical memories.

'Touching The Road' are exploring why some pieces of music affect us more than others.

We all have favourite pieces of music and when we hear them we are often transported to another time and place.

Music is very important to most people - it is part of our identity.

Currently each group member is being given the chance to play their chosen piece of music to the rest of the group and then talk about it.

From these talks, the group plans to create an original piece of music and a short film.

Filming takes place in the New Year.
