We
have forged links with a wide range of community groups and individuals.
What
could I learn?
Our
team of BBC media experts run a range of courses including digital
photography, radio skills, web page production and film making.
Much of the material created during these courses has been broadcast
on BBC Radio Leeds, posted onto the Where I live: Leeds website
and even broadcast on the Big Screen in Millennium Square.

would teach me?
The
project, which works in partnership with Education Leeds and Leeds
City Council, has a specialist schools worker working with primary
schools in Harehills, Burmantoffs, Chapeltown and Gipton. There
is also an adult education trainer.
The
team is led by a BBC Managing Editor and a Senior Broadcast journalist.

include working alongside BBC professionals to gain new skills and
insights.
We encourage those taking part to seek further qualifications through
our partners in further and higher education in Leeds.
Others may wish to use their new skills to take part in community
radio projects.
One
