On Friday 27 May 2005, Science entered the Big Brother house as one of 13 contestants in the sixth series of the reality TV show.

In 2005, Science won a Spotlight Award - an award in recognition for the difference he has made to the community. A plaque in his honour has been mounted in the Archway Youth Centre in Chapeltown.
