FOR or AGAINST!

The factory should stay open because everyone likes this drink. Coca-Cola say drink it instead of water as it tastes really nice.
Emily and Sameer

I think that the soft drinks factory should be shut down because they are destroying the lives of Indian people.
Aidan and Matthew K.

The Coca-Cola factory has mega-futuristic advanced technologic machines! They give over 400 jobs to people who work in the factory and take care of them. Anyway, why need water when you can live on soft drinks?
Aidan D and Matthew K

There is no farmland because the Coca-Cola factory has been built on it. Although they employ a lot of people to work in the factory, we think they should close down their factory in India.
Jade M and Amy B.

The Coca-Cola factory is taking all the water. The people in Kerala are saying that "the paddy fields are like deserts". They can't grow rice anymore. The farmers wanted the factory closed because they think that it is not healthy for people. Farmers want more water back in the fields.
Claire C
.

The factory should stay open because everyone likes Coca-Cola. The villages don't have much water and the water they do have is chalky white and cloudy; even when it has been boiled it is still cloudy. The factory makes lots of money to pay the workers, so if you work there you will get a good wage. Keep it open!
Emily and Sameer.
