Year 4 have been learning about electricity.

How did they manage to use electricity to stick a balloon to the wall?

Static electricity of course! Very clever, don't you think?

Static electricity is usually measured in volts.

There are two main types of static electricity, volumetric and surface.

Static electricity is electricity that does not flow in a current.

1) Rub a balloon on your hair.
