Life without electricity

If we didn't have electricity, it would be hard to survive. It would be really dark at night.

Electricity is made by burning fossil fuels. The bad thing about burning fossil fuels is that smoke comes out and causes pollution.

Scientists say that fossil fuels will eventually run out.

We should not use electricity so quickly or waste electricity. When we want more, it will have run out.

We can make electricity by using renewable resources instead of fossil fuels. For example the sun (solar power), the wind (wind power) and water (hydroelectric power).

These kinds of energy are cleaner than fossil fuels.
