  • Duration: 05:03
  • The second part of a short radio drama exploring rules and the boundaries of individual freedom. It's the following day and Clare is in the den with her friend Reena. Reena is very upset after having been teased at school. Clare has taken Reena into the den without the agreement of the other two den-users and, when Sam appears, he takes Clare aside and challenges her for breaking their rules. Clare is cross about Sam's literal interpretation of the rules and insensitive behaviour towards Reena, and both girls leave the den. Danny tries to reason with Sam, but they end up arguing and fighting. In the scuffle, the boys tumble out of the shed doorway. Clare tells them to behave and, as calm returns, they suddenly notice the damage they've done. The shed door has been ripped off its hinges.
