Key Info
  • Travelling bus brings the internet to Rwanda
  • Duration: 03:00
  • Communities without electricity cannot get online, but access to an ICT bus equipped with laptops and an internet connection ensures the people of Rwanda are not left behind in the internet revolution. The bus travels around Rwanda to schools and markets and remains stationary, sometimes for days or weeks, allowing people to use computers and the internet. For school children, the bus is having a huge impact on their education as they can use the internet to support their studies, and for business people, they have access to computers and software for carrying out business activities such as book keeping.
