Training on a rowing machine
British rowing gold medallist Andy Hodge from Great Britain's coxless four demonstrates how to get the most out of the rowing machine. He demonstrates how to use a rowing ergo machine safely and how to develop a good rowing technique. Andy talks about the leg drive, body rock and the work of the arms. He concentrates on rowing safely while on the machine. He then transfers what he has learnt on the ergo to the water and explains how to fit this in with the rest of the crew in the boat.
