  • With the release of more and more 3D movies and plans for 3D TV content there will soon be an increase in demand for the technology to be available in our homes. A 3D-enabled TV, a Blu-ray player and specialist glasses are required to watch 3D content. Manufacturers are yet to agree on a standard design for the glasses and several are currently being used, such as polarised glasses or active shutter glasses. The future of gaming in 3D is also revealed on Sony's PlayStation 3 but questions are raised about the health implications for players' eyes while wearing 3D goggles for long periods of time.
