Key Info
  • Testing and identifying materials in a ship wreck
  • Duration: 01:18
  • Divers are investigating a wooden ship wreck looking for treasure. They find a rock which doesn't actually seem to be a rock. It doesn't sound like a rock or feel like a rock so they test it with a magnet. It is attracted to the magnet so they deduce it must be an object made from iron or steel. They test other rocks in a similar way. They also find other objects such as a glass bottle, a metal necklace and a cup.
