Spanish, world language - the future
A report about the importance of Spanish as a world language. Individuals from Spain, Southern America and Central America talk about their hopes and dreams for the future. The report includes interviews with students and teachers from a language school in Castillo and emphasises the pivotal role of Spanish as the second most widely spoken language in the world.
Use in conjunction with clips 8625 and 8626. Pupils could listen out for and note down six of the dreams mentioned in the report: ir a cada ciudad del mundo; dibujar el mundo; hacer maravillas; ser el presidente de la nación; que no haya más guerras; abrir un restaurante; que el espaňol se convierta en una lengua segunda del mundo.
