  • Singer Suzy Digby offers advice for singers on warming up the voice in preparation for singing. Here she explains there are five basic vowel sounds in singing: 'oo' as in 'book'; 'oh' as in 'off'; 'eh' as in every'; 'ah' as in 'aardvark'; and 'ih' as in 'if'.
