  • Young red squirrels are caught on camera in a breeding centre at Pensthorpe Nature Reserve. The BBC left a camera running at the reserve, using a lure of some tasty nuts to attract the creatures. This speeded-up footage shows the results. Scientists have recently discovered that some red squirrels have developed immunity to a disease that has ravaged their numbers. This clip was first published on BBC News Online on 15 October 2008. Please note this clip is only available in Flash.
