- Toshiba reveals its 'next generation' 55inch TV, the Cell Regza, which uses the same cell processor found in Sony's PlayStation 3. The TV demonstrates high capacity memory to allow high definition viewing, three terabyte storage capabilities which have the ability to record multiple channels simultaneously, and an intuitive interface which allows TV programmes to be searched using keywords. When Toshiba launches the TV in 2010 it plans to unveil a new 3D version which will take any 2D image and upscale it to 3D. This clip was first published on BBC News Online on 6 October 2009.
